3 days left until we hit the dreaded debt ceiling! 3 days left and the debate still rages! On the GOP side, you have a bunch of Tea Party folks that have decided they won’t support anything unless there is some sort of balanced budget amendment attached to it. On the other side….well…the other side is kinda just sitting back and waiting on the GOP to show its hand.
So what does all of this mean? Nothing really…fact is something is going to happen. I seriously doubt the GOP will not sign onto something. That’s just a major setup for failure in 2012. On the other side of the coin, the democrats will accept some compromise from the republicans. Of course, you won’t hear any of this out loud. Are you crazy? Politicians can’t tell you the truth!
