Mitt Romney had a not so surprising sweep of wins last night in Wisconsin, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Romney easily won and now has a delegate count of 655. With such a large lead no other candidates stand a chance at getting the necessary delegates before the convention, yet Rick Santorum is still fighting in the race. Why?
If you ask me, I think it is because he is bitter. Rick Santorum has always come off as the candidate that was bitter. He was bitter when no one was paying attention to him. Now that people are paying attention to him, he is still bitter. In fact, he even cursed out a reporter recently on the campaign trail! People are quick to point out that this reporter is from the NY Times and that they are the head of the liberal press. That ignores the fact that the reporter is often part of the roundtable panel on Fox News Sunday and the Fox All Stars on Special Report.
I have said repeatedly I didn’t understand support behind Rick Santorum. I have also said he has no chance at getting Millennial support. The good news is, the race is effectively over. Mitt Romney is the nominee. Maybe Rick will get the memo, or maybe he will remain bitter that he was beaten and continue on. I guess that’s his prerogative.

Mittens can run but he can’t win. He’s a Mormon, ain’t ever gonna happen, he may as well be a Satanist in most Red States.
Romney’s dumb and predictable too; he’s going to pick Crazy Eyes as his running mate to improve his profile with Chreeestchans and Tea Baggers and he imagines it will help with women voters too, but nothing could get Mittens elected, not even massive voter fraud.
He’s just so obviously dislikeable, he’s got less charisma than G H W Bush and less star quality than R M Nixon.
Obama could barbecue small children on the Whitehouse lawn and start pimping at this point and he would still win.
He may not be able to defeat Obama, but the point is he will be the nominee.
