Did President Obama Just Lose Reelection?

Romney

Last night’s debate was an amazing night for Governor Mitt Romney. He was the unanimous winner of the debate and that’s not just my opinion. That is the opinion of people on the left as well. The immediate polling of viewers after the debate by CNN/ORC International survey showed that Romney won decisively by 67%. So that begs the question. Did President Obama just lose reelection with his performance last night at the Denver debate?

It’s really hard to say that this debate could turn the tide and lead to a Romney win. What we can say is that Romney will very likely get a bump in the polls. With national polls within the margin of error, that could place him even or just ahead of Obama in a week or two. Of course the national polls don’t matter as much as the state polls. What we really need to watch is the bump that Romney gets in the states of Ohio and Florida. Those are key states (Ohio more-so than Florida)! Romney has a lot of ground to make up in Ohio to win the state according to the polls there. Hopefully his debate performance last night will help him to makeup that ground.

One of the most interesting aspects of presidential debates that I tend to watch for is how each person’s body language gives away more about the person then their own words. One of PolicyMic’s top Pundit’s, Amy Sterling Casil, wrote a great article about how Romney won on the body language front just as much as he won on substance.

What is PolicyMic you ask? Well if you haven’t heard about it already, its a great social media network for the politically inclined to go and have their voices heard. PolicyMic is especially popular among Millennials. How do I know all of this? Well, I literally wrote the book on PolicyMic! Go buy it on Amazon and check it out!

About The Political Zealot

The Political Zealot is designed to bring independent analysis of politics from a Millennial's point of view. Being a Millennial, I am much more inclined to work together and come to a compromise than most of the Baby Boomers that are in Congress today. Because of this, The Political Zealot will strive to find ways to bridge the gaps of both sides of the political aisle and bring solutions to the table.
